Instant Payment Service Eligibility

This endpoint provides a validation mechanism that accepts a routing number and returns whether the financial institution associated with the routing number is currently participating on the RTP or FedNow Networks and if so, what services are supported by the institution.

It should be noted that in the Staging environment only the following may be used to test with:

  • Your own created virtual accounts paired with your bank’s Routing Number
  • Your own deposit accounts paired with your bank’s Routing Number
  • A list of external Account Numbers and Routing Numbers combinations provided by Payments Orchestrator

For a list of your Deposit Account Numbers, or external Account Numbers and Routing Numbers that may be used please email support.jhorchestrator@jackhenry.com.

For the Production environment, the Bank Service Eligibility endpoint queries the RTP and FedNow networks for a current list of banks participating in each program.
