Overview - Positive Pay Issued Check Verification
The JH Positive Pay service is used by banks to deter check fraud. Companies that subscribe to the Positive Pay service, may provide their bank partner a set of check guardrails that exist within the core and provides regular updates of issued checks. The Positive Pay processes withing the bank core are used to verify the checks presented for payment for any discrepancy. Checks that are considered suspicious are sent back to the issuer for further examination and rejection/approval.
