Service Dictionary Search is a jXchange messaging service designed to provide consumers a service that can convey a Service Provider’s elements XSD path, requirements, default values, open enumerated canonical values, help/knowledge content, and fault codes per operation.

Steps

  1. User determines the need to research the characteristics of a jXchange operation.
  2. User researches via the SvcDictSrch message brief to determine the correct value to enter into the <SvcDictName> element to retrieve the operational characteristics.
  3. The user will also need to detail are they wanting the characteristics of the request (Rq) or response (Rs) portion of the operation.
