TellerTrnSrch Questions
Q: We only submit a TellerCurrTrnAdd request when the currency transaction
exceeds 10k. We need to know if the customer currency transactions aggregated value to JHA excess the 10k at the
day, so we could decide to submit a TellerTrnAdd even though if the customer is cash in 5k only, for example. Does
the Aggregated Value from Vertex reflect the currency transactions in JHA in the day or just aggregated the amounts
in the Vertex using TellerCurrTrnAdd? Will the report be generated based on the aggregated value in Vertex or the
latest request we submitted with TellerCurrTrnAdd at the day?
A: The TellerCurrTrnSrch is only going to be able to pass the Teller cash
aggregation that we have. This means that tellers running a standard Teller workstation will pass us cash
transactions per their thresholds and trackable/non-trackable setup. On workstations that are using BranchAnywhere,
if the TellerCurrTrnAdd is only being passed on items over 10k, the aggregation amount we pass back
could be inaccurate. If someone has had several smaller cash items run with a Branch Anywhere workstation, and comes
in later for a large 12k transaction—the way the vendor described their actions, we would only have that 12k
transaction to show for a cash total.
