Transactions Set Item Search
Transactions Set Item Search is a jXchange service designed to provide a consumer with a listing of all the items that were in the same transaction set for specific history items.
Message Flow
In jXchange, the Transactions Set Item
Search service uses a typical exchange of MType
messages to provide a
consumer with a listing of all items that were in the same transaction set
for specific history items. For example, the end user will be able to see
where a certain check came from and will also be able to see the related
deposit slip, general ledger tickets, etc.
Primary Request
The Third Party Consumer forwards the
TrnSetItemSrchRq_MType
message to the Service Provider. The message contains:
Custom_CType
SrchMsgRqHdr_CType
The request requires ImgNum
. The ImgNum
must be valid or a fault
is returned. If a transaction set does not exist for the ImgNum
, the user receives a
warning.
Primary Response
The Service Provider returns the
TrnSetItemSrchRs_MType
message to the Third Party Consumer. The message contains:
Amt
BatchNum
ImgNum
: If this is blank, it represents a missing image number.PostDt
: 0001-01-01 indicates the item has not posted yet.SeqNum
These are the required elements for the response.
Transaction Set Item Search Behavior
The TrnSetItemSrchRq_MType
message request
requires an item's ImgNum
as the search argument (the
required key). The ImgNum
must be valid or a fault is
returned. If the transaction set does not exist for a valid
ImgNum
, a warning is returned.
The Service Provider should provide all of the items in the transaction set regardless of account number, etc. The consumer application must have an accessibility policy that controls end user access of items returned in the response set.
