FAQ
IntnetFinInstAcctIdAddFAQ
Q: I’m using IntnetFinInstAcctIdAdd to associate and account with a Netteller ID and am getting the error message below. Why?
<FaultMsgRec>
<ErrCode>5006</ErrCode>
<ErrCat>Error</ErrCat>
<ErrDesc>Account not valid for Customer ID.</ErrDesc> <ErrElem>IntnetFinInstAcctIdInfo.IntnetFinInstAcctIdArray.IntnetFinInstAcctId.AcctId IntnetFinInstAcctIdInfo.IntnetFinInstAcctIdArray.IntnetFinInstAcctId.AcctType</ErrElem>
<ErrElemVal>123456789/D</ErrElemVal>
<ErrLoc>HBACCTADD</ErrLoc>
</FaultMsgRec>
A: As an addition layer of security, the IntnetFinInstAcctIdAdd operation will not allow a consumer to associate a Netteller ID with an account that it has no relationship with via JX. Non-related accounts can only be added directly by personnel at the FI.
If the account should be related to the NTID but is not currently, then the CustRelAdd operation can be used to relate the account to the customers CIF record.
