Bill Pay Payment History Search

Bill Pay Payment History Search is a jXchange service designed to return all payments made for a particular bill pay product and subscriber.

Message Flow

In jXchange, the Bill Pay Payment History Search service uses a typical exchange of MType messages to search and retrieve payments made for a particular bill pay product and subscriber.

Primary Request

The Third Party Consumer forwards the BilPayPmtHistSrchRq_MType message to the Service Provider. The message contains the following filters:

  • PayeeId
  • PmtEndDt
  • PmtHighAmt
  • PmtLowAmt
  • PmtStartDt
  • PmtStat - The default is All

It also contains the BilPayProd and SubId simple elements.

Primary Response

The Service Provider returns the BilPayPmtHistSrchRs_MType message to the Third Party Consumer. The message contains an echo of those elements sent in the request, even if those same elements exist in the repeating complex.

Bill Pay Payment History Search Behavior

The response returns all payments made for a particular bill pay product and subscriber.

The request provides the following filters on the request:

  • Payment start date - PmtStartDt
  • Payment end date - PmtEndDt
  • Payment low amount - PmtLowAmt
  • Payment high amount - PmtHighAmt
  • Payment status - PmtStat - The default is All
  • Payee ID - PayeeId

When there is more than one filter on the request, the selection is based on ~and~ rather than ~or~.

The standard search message header tenets are applicable.

The elements on the request are echoed back at the response, regardless if those same elements exist in the repeating complex.
