What you will use as your Base URL will vary based on the answer to the question: Does your financial institution have Banno Online?

This option includes those financial institutions who have:

If so, then your Base URL will be of the form:

https://[CONSUMER_API_ENVIRONMENT]/a/consumer/api/v0

CONSUMER_API_ENVIRONMENT is specific to your financial institution and matches with Banno Online for your institution.

Example: For the Garden demo institution the CONSUMER_API_ENVIRONMENT would be digital.garden-fi.com.

If so, then your Base URL will be:

https://api.banno.com/a/consumer/api/v0

IMPORTANT

Implications for Banno Mobile (without Banno Online)

If your financial institution ever adds Banno Online, your authentication will no longer work as-is without breaking changes.
Adding Banno Online at a future date means you’ll need to switch from using api.banno.com to using the CONSUMER_API_ENVIRONMENT scheme described in the section above.
